The Akasha spa at Jerusalem’s Mamilla hotel can only but appeal to those design-conscious travellers out there. Designed by Piero Lissoni it overlooks the historic old town. The design of the hotel is a mix of old and new – traditional local limestone is used throughout, such as backdrops for gorgeous bathroom walls however lighting and furniture provide a modern feel.
