The use of earthy colours in this scheme, such as stone greys, muddy browns and olives, gives the room an organic feel. To further the organic feel simple patterns (a striped blanket and patchwork rug) and textured materials (a wicker basket and linen sofa covers) have been added to the room. The design of the room is kept modern by the addition of contemporary furniture, such as the sofa and the lamp.
