Reading April’s issue of House Beautiful yesterday I came across an article on Orla Kiely. A lady I have heard a lot about, but know very little about her and her designs.Time for me to investigate I thought … and wow, all I can say is that I love it!

Kiely has become synonymous with graphic prints and kitsch patterns – the example on the left is her ‘trademark’ print so to speak and I love it. The simpleness of the design but with such a variety of colour make it perfect for a print.

She produces a variety of products including ready-to-wear collections, homeware, furnishings, luggage and accessories. All are emblazoned with her funky and different prints.
