Dream Bathroom

Last year I was asked to take part in C.P. Hart’s 3×2 Blogger Design Challenge. The aim was to talk through the design and creation of a bathroom that was 3 metres x 2 metres in size – you can see my entry here. Designing a bathroom is actually one of my favourite aspects of interior design – I like the challenge of making a small space fully functional and creating an interesting interior with various materials.

In January I was delighted to be told that I’d won the blogging competition and I received some gorgeous bath goodies and a meeting with one of C.P. Hart’s visual designers. I had a really fun time with Rebecca at their Chelsea Showroom talking through my dream bathroom. I’ve actually based the layout on a design I’ve been working on for a townhouse in Victoria Square, London (more on that project, in a post to come).

Rebecca drew up my thoughts for me and I just love what it looks like – for me it is just dreamy:

    What a stunning bathroom :O)
I love that its been furnished and designed like an actual useable room to relax in, rather than just a necessary room that is functional and nothing else. I know often we are limited with the size of bathrooms, but adding large mirrors, chandeliers and stunning display cabinets to show off products, rather than hiding them away in a boring cabinet, can really make a bathroom an inviting and relaxing space to wind down in. I love free standing baths and in my dream bathroom I would have twin sinks!!
